The Guys of "Family Flaws"

Okay, so I'm still not doing homework but my book deserves some of my time. Right? Sounds good to me. I just could not stop at the ladies (and who wants to do their statistics reading anyway?)

There are plenty more men in "Family Flaws" than there are women, so instead of trying to get to everyone I grabbed up some photos of the main guys for this little project.

Here are the boys in no particular order:

Second side note for those who missed it: These lovely gentlemen, and their pictures, are obviously copyright of their respective owners and websites. No image infringement has been, is, or ever will be intentional.

The Ladies of "Family Flaws"

Greetings, loyal readers!

I know it has been awhile since my last post, but hey: only thirty-some days left of school. That's all I have to say about that and my completely limited time.

However, I thought I would introduce a new little segment on where I found my physical inspiration for a few characters. Something new, something fun, and something that was totally NOT supposed to take up the entirety of my homework day. Alas, homework has gone the way of the dodos today and it just could not be helped. I tried, I honestly did!

So here, without further ado, are the celebrities I vaguely had in mind for the ladies of "Family Flaws":

Cynthia James inspired by Claudia Black
Nadia James inspired by Milla Jovovich
Cote James inspired by Claire Danes

Fire inspired by Gina Torres
Desdemona Valentin inspired by Anna Azarova

COMING SOON: THE GUYS!

Side note: These lovely ladies, and their pictures, are obviously copyright of their respective owners and websites. No image infringement has been, is, or ever will be intentional.

In a Nutshell

Let me just say that I am probably one of the least social people using social media at this very moment. Not the least social, not since I moved out from under my rock, but alas, my inner-hermit likes her privacy. For my immediate purposes, this is a way to advertise my new book: "Family Flaws" which we will get to in a bit.

Who am I? T.S. Castle, nerd extraordinaire, pleased to meet you. I have a few months until I finish college. Although I enjoy learning pretty much anything new I am ready to be done with school for a while. I enjoy video games, science fiction, and the like. Comedies, horror movies, action, yessir. Not a big fan of chick flicks or anything that might introduce that dreaded emotional stuff into my brain. If it’s crying, baby or adult, you can bet I will be shifting uncomfortably from foot to foot and trying to find the nearest exit.

My book is called “Family Flaws” and I must say of all the things I have created this is my pride and joy. Writing has always been my number one passion and this book is an accumulation of my love. My writing style is a kaleidoscope of nonlinear storytelling, but everything ties together in the end. I promise. At long last, “Family Flaws” is ready for other people to see. If you’re curious, feel free to read it. I won’t stop you.

***RELEASE DATE: SEPTEMBER 22, 2013***

Here’s the cover, artfully produced by the wonderful Bryan and Vita Hewitt. Enticed? You know you are!

And here is the description from the back of the book and the end of this post. Peace.

For the soldiers of SAINT, going to war is more than a struggle for land or power; it’s a fight between good and evil. Theirs is a life spent on the fringes of a society oblivious to the horrors of the darkness. With no family apart from their brothers and sisters borne of battle, their bonds are as indestructible as the blood ties they left behind.

On the night of the Ritz’ven Massacre, Peter Stone lost everything. The centuries-old spell should have granted the vampires in his Clan immunity from every weakness: sunlight, silver, and holy items. Instead it left him cursed to an eternity alone.

Aidan James has seen monsters. He was raised by one. Trying to survive is all he can manage for himself most days, but for the last of his family, for Cote, he cannot surrender. Little does he know, survival is about to get much more difficult for them both. And for everyone else around them.

Death is relative. Family is forever.
